Virtual Shade Mapping Requirements

Below is a list of settings and items required for proper Virtual Shade Mapping.

1. Confirm that all of your camera, lighting, and Virtual EdgeTech account settings are correct.  Your Technologist will have helped you set this up during the initial onboarding process.  If you do not have the proper camera, lighting, and account settings, please call or text you Virtual Technologist and they will guide you through the process.

2.  You will provide a series of photos to your Virtual Technologist.  They will require high quality, properly acquired photos.  Use the examples below to make sure you provide the correct images.

3. Send your images to you Virtual Technologist via text or email.  They will analyze the photos and produce a proper shade map.  This shade map can be given to your laboratory or used by your in-house technician.  The shade map will include multiple levels of complexity.  The technician producing your restorations can choose to follow the basic guidelines or the entire map to achieve a proper shade match.

Provide 4 shade tab photos.

These 4 photos should include the closest "A","B","C",and "D" tabs.
